I started taking pictures about 6 months after Buddy was born. I did so because I wanted to be able to capture his smile and share it with the world. It’s contagious and hopefully it brings a little bit of delight to your day.
After taking pictures for a few months, I began to think about all of the parents that may not have the resources that we have been blessed with. Maybe they aren’t able to get pictures of their kids taken or maybe they have never really have a photograph taken of themselves?
So I started the Buddy Project.
The Buddy Project is my way of giving back. If you contact me and give me a little background information, I will do all that I can to make sure that you get pictures of your children so that you can see their smiling faces hanging on the wall.
The pictures will be free to anyone that we see as in need. We will cover everything, including the printing costs.
There really isn’t an application form or anything like that. Just send me a quick note through my Tumblr messenger.
I am in the Detroit area and will do all that I can to accommodate as many people as possible, but I can’t make any guarantee’s. The money for the printing and travel comes directly from my pocket and so our resources are limited, but we will do everything we can to help you out.
We look forward to hearing from you.
